TED MOSELEY
BASS GUITAR/LEAD & BACK-UP VOCALS

Ted picked up the bass at age 14. After a few lessons (a condition of his parents co-signing the loan on his first bass), he wasted no time and formed his first band with junior high friends. Called MIRAGE, they performed at numerous parties (hosted by the guitarist's older brother) and played endless highlights of "Cat Scratch Fever," "Smoke on the Water" and "Freebird."

A few years later, Ted joined the group INVADER. Playing mostly for beer and drunken fan adoration, his fondest memory is of one party played in a basement during the hot summer months! As Ted recalls, "The floors were tile and somewhat wet from condensation and spilled beer. After a rollicking rendition of AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie," this barefoot girl who was likely buzzed came up and laid a lip-lock on me! With my hands still on the strings & playing through an old Fender Bassman 10 amp without a grounded plug, we both lit up like the 4th of July! It was possibly the most passionate and certainly the most electrifying kiss I've ever had!"  He still wonders what happened to that girl from his endless summer of '79!

At 17, Ted joined the Navy to "see the world!" During his 20 year career, almost every post assignment provided opportunities for him to form bands with shipmates and play for the crew. The most successful of these combos was a band called MATOFI (acronym for Mitch & The Other F&$%ing Idiots). Not only did they perform for ship's company, MATOFI played in ports all up and down the U.S. west coast and in far flung and exotic places like Pakistan and Diego Garcia! Their most exciting gig was in Australia, where they entertained several thousand people out for music and fun in downtown Perth!

After retiring from the Navy, Ted moved to the Orlando area and continued his music.
In 2003, he joined LOW BID BAND featuring several Orange County employees. At that time, he met Judi & Bret with NEON DREAM and even shared the stage on a few songs at some gigs. This led him being hired as Neon Dream's fill-in bass player from 2006-08. In late 2007, Ted formed COIN OPERATED, a well recieved band that played at several Central Florida clubs. Just as that project ended, NEON DREAM was in need of a full time bassist. So, as fate would have it, Ted was available to join and come full circle back to NEON DREAM - yet another exciting chapter in his long musical journey!
